ECOespiral’s projects are located in Xenimajuyú community in Tecpán, Guatemala. As a volunteer, you have the choice of living with one of the families in the community, for an authentic Guatemalan experience, or to stay with like-minded volunteers at our volunteer house “Casa San Vicente”, at the Farm Pasajinak. The area is surrounded by horses, cows and green fields, is right beside a natural reserve and a few miles away from Mayan Pyramids.
Casa San Vicente is a beautiful rustic house, surrounded by colorful flowers, native trees, a permaculture garden, and our faithful hound of dogs. Here, we have created a community space for those who are searching for new way of experiencing life. Casa San Vicente is a inter-cultural center to learn and teach about inner transformation and reflect on inner change in our daily lifes and actions.
We offer you private and shared rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, working space and three vegetarian meals per day. When not working, you have the opportunity to spend time in the horse stable, learn about permaculture, explore ancient Mayan knowledge, as well as learn how to make Mayan handcraft and food.
